The 123 meter 16MW wind turbine blade was successfully rolled off the production line at LZ Blades on August 30.This is the 4th blade with a length of more than 100 meters that LZ Blades has successfully done in a year.  As a leading manufacturer of wind turbine blades in China, LZ Blades has been arranging new materials, new technologies, new processes and new equipment for ultra-large blades in advance for the past few years to provide customers with systematic solutions. The blade owns several super parameters. It is a 123 meter-long blade weighted 50 tons with BCD beyond 5 meters and superficial area surpasses 1000 square meters.. These super parameters bring huge challenges for design, manufacturing, and transportation. Through simulation prediction of blade root deformation and support optimization, the R&D team found a solution to ensure blade root machining under low deformation conditions. The manufacturing team simulates the flow of each production link to make the flow of relevant parts and blades unimpeded; With the perfusion technology accumulated for many years, the perfusion of super-large area and super-thick parts has been perfectly realized. The sales team coordinates and solves road transportation problems so that the blades could be transported to the port smoothly. Of course, the difficulties and challenges in the design and production of 100+meter blades are far from these.
